7.20.2009 My dear friend Carol wrote this poem for me, in honor of Chris's 6th Angel date.
As this day dawns bright and new
I want to send my love to you
These days are hard and full of pain
but look ahead, there is much to gain
Let blessings and love replace the hurt
and bring new life, like flowers from dirt
Six years have passed one by one
since you last spoke, to you beautiful son
Your pain runs deep and I understand
but we have to survive in this lonely land
Absorb the beauty of the shining Sun
and remember with pride - how far you have come.
